Working the nightshift can sometimes be hard to handle. However, when you meet a new friend and that friendship turns into love, it definitely makes it more bearable. This is what happened for Kayla and Shawn. It didn’t take long for them to realize there was something special between them.
After two and a half years of dating, Shawn asked the big question. Kayla was very honest in telling me that she was actually expecting him to break up with her when the big moment came. But to her surprise, he asked her to marry him.
The wedding took place at a hidden gem, The Barn at Maple Creek, in Kingston, TN. Just like so many other venues I’ve been to, everything about this venue is perfect. From the bridal and groom suites to the beautiful “door wall”, everything is very well designed and beautiful. The ceremony took place on the covered patio in front of the gorgeous two-sided stone fireplace. While their family and friends were watching, Kayla and Shawn said “I do” and started their journey as husband and wife. Thanks to the gigantic folding doors, the reception took place inside and outside. Inside the barn, the tables were adorned, the music was blaring, and the dance floor was jumping! Right outside, there was a great sitting area with corn hole games set up. Everyone had a great time! It was a beautiful wedding and reception which ended with a perfect sparkler send-off.
Kayla and Shawn, I wish you the absolute best in your new life together. The two of you have a great connection and friendship. I can’t wait to see you again in the near future to document your pregnancy. I sure can’t wait to see your beautiful baby girl when she arrives!! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your special day!!
