Amy and Coby’s backyard Tennessee wedding on June 7, 2019 was absolutely precious. When I arrived, Coby was in the backyard trying to perfect the details of the decorations so his bride had nothing to worry about while preparing herself for her big day. I have photographed Amy and her family in the past, so when she decided to have me as their wedding photographer I was so excited. She is absolutely beautiful and her family is a hoot. I even mentioned to her that I love my family, but would love to also be adopted into her family to join in on their fun get-togethers. Needless to say, I was looking forward to being a part of their wedding.
The weather the days before the wedding were filled with rain. Amy had planned everything around the 7:30 sunset. Storms were expected off and on throughout the day. Thank goodness the rain held off. They even had bits of sunshine throughout the wedding. The beautiful sunset was hidden some by the clouds, but the ceremony was gorgeous. Plus, I don’t know if anyone would have noticed the sunset because of all of the love being displayed between the bride and groom during the ceremony. There was laughter and there were tears. When you meet a couple that shares the same sense of humor and can constantly make each other laugh, you can’t help but swoon over them. That is Amy and Coby. I can usually hold my emotions during weddings, but at the end of the ceremony when the officiant had the whole family come to Amy and Coby and lay their hands on them while he prayed, I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed. It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful ceremony.
